The Sanctuary is a 100-hectare coastal development in Mangawhai, comprising 55 house sites and serviced by 3km of sealed and concrete roads.
As part of the development extensive planting was carried out.
A feature of the development was the construction of a bridge and spillway which created 2 large lakes around the sections. The development also had its own on-site waste-water management system which required infrastructure to be installed from each section to the treatment field.
