High performance long-life road markings have been introduced to improve road delineation and safety, particularly at night. There are two proprietary product types used in NZ and each has its strengths and weaknesses. The work carried out by NCC has focused on evaluating the performance of these products and developing a management system to assist in getting maximum performance from the markings over their life.
